Meagen Andrew began playing the piano at the age 7 and the violin in 5th grade. She studied with Anna Gray from Preston and Conrad Dunn from Logan as she attended Preston High School. While in high school she played in the Utah Youth Symphony, the school symphony, and Double Helix the elite string ensemble.

She is currently a senior at Idaho State University majoring in Music Education.  She is studying violin with Dr. Chung Park.  Meagen began teaching lessons when she was 15.  In Pocatello, she is an active member of the Idaho State Civic Symphony, the ISU Chamber Orchestra, and CMENC (the Collegiate Music Educators National Conference). 

Along with teaching privately she teaches with the Idaho School District 25’s After School Strings Program.  One of her greatest achievement on the violin has been being selected to be a member of 400 person symphony for the 400th Celebration of the Founding of America in Jamestown, Virginia.
